A new and distinct variety of flowering Malus crab apple tree, substantially as herein shown and described, characterized particularly by an upright, semi-dwarf growth habit, an arching and weeping effect of the branches, attractive pinkish colored flowers and abundant bright dark red colored fruits that may hang all winter, and which has apparent resistance to diseases which are common to most Malus species.

This is a weeping, spreading deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, dark green with a tint of red, up to 3 inches long. Red buds develop into pink flowers in spring. Fruit are persistent, glossy red, approximately the size of a cherry. Grows 15-25 feet tall and 10-20 feet wide

“Sunburst  Honey Locust”

The Sunburst Honeylocust tree, Gleditsia triacanthos inermis, ‘Sunburst’, is smaller in stature (35– 45 ft) than the common Honeylocust tree. Sunburst Honeylocust trees display yellow new growth, and the yellow leaves persists throughout the season. The wood is dense, hard, and durable. The Sunburst Honeylocust is fast growing up to 2 ‘ a year. It is a very fine textured tree with a broad, pyramidal crown, and an excellent lawn tree for filtered shade. This deciduous tree displays clusters of yellow-green, fragrant flowers open in May-June. The leaves are divided into many small, oval leaflets giving a fern-like appearance to the foliage; leaves are normally green, but the ‘Sunburst’ cultivar has light yellow leaves. This tree is a version of improved thornless, podless varieties.    Prefers full sun. Extremely salt tolerant.

and 15  feet wide.  The White ‘Spring Snow’ Crabapple tree is loaded with white flowers in early spring.  This fruitless Canadian introduction is completely covered with pink buds that open to fragrant white flowers in spring. It has bright green, shiny foliage and good heat tolerance.

Robusta Cottonwood is a cottonless & seedless variety makes a good fast growing large shade tree.  This variety of Cottonwood is pyramidal in youth but maturing to a broad vase shaped habit with an open branching structure. Height: 40 – 60 ft. Spread:  30 – 40 ft.  The leaves are light green to medium green and smaller than most other cottonwoods. Very easy to grow and will adapt to most conditions.

Important Info : Gleditsia triacanthos inermis is thornless.

The ‘Chanticleer’ Pear is an upright-pyramidal tree that is much narrower than other ornamental pears. This tree makes a valuable addition to the landscape and is a good choice where lateral space to spread is limited.

It has attractive flowers, foliage, and fall color. Bark is at first smooth with numerous lenticels, light brown to reddish-brown, then later turning grayish brown with shallow furrows. ‘Chanticleer’ is less susceptible to early freezes than other Pears. The ‘Chanticleer’ Pear is very adaptable to many different soils and it tolerates drought, heat, cold, and pollution.

Plant in full sun.

The ‘Chanticleer’ Callery Pear is a cultivar, partly selected because of its unique combination of good traits including great form and resistance to blight and limb breakage.

Green Ash is commonly used in the landscape due to its adaptability to stressful landscape situations. It is very cold hardy and has excellent tolerance to drought, and is very adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions. It has an oval to round crown becoming more open in form with age. Green Ash is a fast grower.
Summit is a upright tree reaching 45 feet in height by 25 feet in width. It is a deciduous tree, which produces pinnate, glossy, dark green leaves. Foliage turns a striking shade of yellow in fall. Summit is seedless.
Important Info : This tree does best when given plenty of water when young. Once established, can tolerate less frequent waterings and even some drought.

Other species of Populus have petioles flattened partially along their length, while the Quaking Aspen’s are flattened from side to side along the entire length of the petiole.

This quaking of the leaves produces a soft sound that many consider a hallmark of the Quaking Aspen.

A tall, fast growing tree can get up to 70 ft. at maturity.  The bark is relatively smooth greenish-white to gray and is marked by thick black horizontal scars and prominent black knots.

The leaves are simple, alternate, and heart-shaped to nearly round, 1″-3″ long; dark green and shiny above, pale green below, with small, rounded teeth on the margins. Leaf stem flattened.

Noted for its brilliant fall colors, leaves turn bright yellow, yellow-orange, gold, or reddish after the first frosts.

This evergreen tree grows to 80 feet tall and over 20 feet wide.

Colorado Blue Spruce is easily one of the most popular conifers.  They are easy to grow in a variety of soils conditions.

Color ranges from green to blue.   Spiky needles repel all but the hungriest deer.

Good for partial shade too!
